I know people have had odd objects turn up for them recently- but has anyone had something else appear? Like a mark.

Yes, one that used to run in the family. I never had it before, though.

[ Haha.. he would hate to have any of his own previous marks return. They usually were curses. Sometimes protective spells, but even if they were still there he's sure they wouldn't work. ]

A hereditary one, you could say.

[One that he very pointedly never actually inherited.]
